Welcome to the home of The Titanic Players!
Established in 1994, The Titanic Players are currently the largest collegiate improvisation organization in the country! With multiple groups at Northwestern University, the University of Illinois, and the University of Wisconsin, Titanic is the only collegiate comedy organization to cross university and state boundaries.
We specialize in long form improvisation, in addition to performances that are scripted, broadcast, and filmed.
In November of 2007, Titanic won the CIF College Comedy Championships in a 4 round, nationally-televised tournament! We are hosts to the College and University Improv Festival (CUIF) and have taken a leadership role in organizing all of the college groups across the nation into an online College and University Improv Network (CUIN).
With the help of our sponsor, One Group Mind, our alumni have continued successful careers at CBS, NBC, The Office, Saturday Night Live, Reno 911!, Arrested Development, and the Unit, as well as national and international improv theatres, including The Annoyance Theater, Boom!
